WE TAKE RESPONSIBILITY

We follow the guidelines on social responsibility (ISO 26000) and are committed to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations (Social Development Goals, United Nations. Farmer's Snack also recognizes the contents of the Global Compact and the EU ILO 2001.

Since 2021, the German Institute for Sustainability and Economics has certified us as "assured sustainability". In 2023, we also received the bronze medal from the internationally recognized rating platform EcoVadis for our good sustainability performance.

The well-being of our partners is also important to us. After all, life on the farm is not always easy - especially in African countries, farmers and their teams face major social challenges. Just as resource-conserving cultivation and harvesting are important to us, a corresponding social commitment to local employees as part of our origin projects is a matter of course.

OUR CLIMATE STRATEGY

We are committed to working with our partners and suppliers to create a climate-neutral supply chain in the future. As a first step towards this, we believe it is important to use scientifically sound values as a basis for climate protection and to develop our own climate strategy for Farmer's Snack.

TRANSPARENT SUPPLY CHAINS THAT ARE AS SHORT AS POSSIBLE

We fully disclose the places of origin of our products - so you can find information on every package and get more information about the origin via the QR code. Wherever possible, we focus on short transportation routes within Europe. With our own almond farm on Mallorca, we continue to drive this issue forward with our nut kernels and at the same time ensure that traditional almond cultivation on the island is preserved.

We take you on a journey to our origins, into our production and right into the heart of our commitment to greater sustainable responsibility. We published Farmer's Snack's first sustainability report for 2020. Our next CSR report for 2021/2022 will follow in autumn 2024. Until then, you will find an update on the small and large projects, our challenges, ideas and visions - because we want to contribute openly and transparently to positive change.
