Whether as an energy booster on the go or as a little treat between meals - our Nut Bars are quick to make and simply taste delicious.
Ingredients
For the dough:
300g Farmer's Snack Dates
12g peanut butter (or nut butter of your choice)
3 tbsp maple syrup
100g Farmer's Snack Roasted Cashews InSalt
80g rolled oats
50g Farmer's Snack Cucina Pistachios Roasted
65g Farmer's Snack Cranberries
2tbsp Farmer's Snack Pumpkin Seeds
Preparation
- Pit the dates and place in a food processor with the peanut butter and maple syrup (or blend with a hand blender).
- Blend until the mixture has a sticky consistency. Add 1-2 tbsp water as required.
- Add the remaining ingredients and roughly chop. The nuts should be well mixed but not completely crushed.
- Pour into a square mold and press down firmly. Be sure to top with chopped nuts and cranberries!
- Leave to harden in the fridge for an hour and cut into bars.
